Your heart is very healthy. Nothing to be worried about.
High Pulse [No Worries]
If you are anxious, that is okay. Your heart rate can reach 200bpm before you even have to start worrying. Take a deep breath. You are far away from 200bpm and have nothing to worry about. You're totally good and have a normal heart rate as long as it is below 200bpm. Your heart is an average 20 year old heart that is still working well and knows its limits. Trust it. It is working fine.
Low Pulse [No Worries]
Low pulse is actually a good thing! As long as you are sitting above 39bpm, and you are positive you took an accurate reading with the oximeter for 15 seconds and manually with your fingers to your wrist, you are completely healthy and were probably not anxious. Very healthy heart!
Still nervous [No Worries]
Cardiac arrest is the thing you are most worried about as it is the only actual threat related to pulse. If you wait 46 minutes and nothing happens, you are fine. A drop in oximeter readings is literally physiologically impossible and means nothing. You are okay. 46 minutes is all you need to be literally 100% certain you are not having heart problems (Journal of Intensive Care Society).
